Hyda 

Born from the waves, built for the water. HYDA Helmets was founded in Ojai, California, originally under the name SIMBA Surf Helmets. The name has now changed to HYDA Helmets to offer a broader range of water-safety products. The product line with 3 different models emphasises sleek, hydrodynamic design, proper protection, and good fit, using materials and technologies that reduce drag, disperse impact energy, and maintain fit even in heavy surf.

Coanda Fusion 
Elite, high-performance helmet designed for serious surfers. It uses the Coanda effect for hydrodynamic flow, has Energy Reduction Technology™ with soft polymer padding to help protect from linear and rotational impact, quick-draining, and features Instafit adjustable zones plus a magnetic chinstrap (FIDLOCK) for secure fastening. It’s certified to EN 1385 for water sports.

Coanda Core 
Shares the shell geometry of the Fusion but at a more affordable price. Offers protection against board hits, fins, reef, wavepool bottoms etc., streamlined for water flow, lightweight, and includes many of the same features such as the Coanda effect, fast draining, etc.. Ideal for beginners and intermediates or budget-conscious surfers who want solid protection without all of the premium extras. It’s certified to EN 1385 for water sports.

Simba Sentinel 
HYDA lists the Sentinel alongside Fusion and Core as part of its current lineup.A lightweight, low-profile helmet engineered specifically for the safety of surfers and water sports enthusiasts. The Sentinels technically advanced design provides high-level impact protection with optimum aquadynamic performance. Weighing in at just 372 grams, the Sentinel is one of the lightest surf helmets in the market.
